Hello. I’m Greta Gooding. Nice to meet you! I am inspired by the intersection of artistry and modern functionality. This has been a guiding principle for me when electing projects. It hasn’t let me down.

I am pursuing a full time role.

I traded sunny California for snowy Ithaca, where I became enamored with the culture of exploration in the community. These days, I’m living in New York City.

I am a motivated and hard-working creative with five years of work experience. With a strong background in writing and editing, I seek positions which allow for collaboration and original ideas on teams of diverse thinkers.

 
 

Sponsorship Fellow

  • Strategize for innovations around public media product and program launches, such as new NPR podcasts; develop RFPs for prospecting efforts, maintain industry snapshots and keep pulse on direction of audio

  • Iterate and collaborate with podcast and music teams to cultivate inspired sponsorship opportunities

  • Conduct internal and external communications for sponsorship team including website, email, and social media

Ad Innovation Strategy Intern

  • Wrote new content descriptions and creative briefs for over 1000 in-network podcasts for both internal and customer-facing use, audited podcasts for potential ad product and data opportunities

  • Enhanced written resources for 50 third-party data providers based on one-on-one interviews about current B2B services, wrote proposal to inform GTM strategy for upcoming quarter

  • Presented and pitched organization and communication system for data clients to team for approval and immediate implementation

 

Content Intern & Freelance Writer

  • Wrote and edited over 600 editorial articles (10 weekly) with homepage placement on preeminent tech publications including Mashable, Good Morning America, etc., totaling $400,000 in revenue 

  • Conceptualized, Pitched, and Launched “The Futurist,” a blog about innovations in tech, grew engagement by 35%

  • Tracked user engagement and ad performance across sites and synthesized data for content solutions

  • Spearheaded and pitched accessibility initiative to audience of 80, facilitating onboarding program that promotes inclusivity in copy and advertising

 

Creative Consultant

  • Designed and pitched new interface and branding strategy to potential investor and clients in weeklong presentation cycle

  • Wrote copy for app design which emphasizes collaboration and creativity

  • Serve as editor on all press releases and corporate literature, advise creative direction of promotional material

  • Coordinate event setup and staging for large scale auctions with over 2,000 attendees

  • Conduct phone bidding with clients, winning multi-million dollar lots at live auction

I graduated from Cornell in May 2022. When I wasn’t in class, I edited the arts section of The Cornell Daily Sun, which published print editions twice a week and daily online editions, as well as our poetry review on campus, Marginalia. I also DJ’d for our radio station, championing new artists.
